But the best thing about being in the US is we basically have everything we need to be self-sufficient, to include a capital market which accommodates and allows for risk taking. So while in some instances China, Russia etc. are a bit further along than where we should be, we have the capacity to change…and quickly.
For instance, we still have an increasingly Christian, entrepreneurship population, unlike anywhere else in the world. And trust me when I say this as the father of 4 of ’em, our young-uns aren’t the snowflakes many have made them out to be. They are going to be a butt-kicking, take no prisoners generation who are not falling for the self-guilt mentality that started with the Boomers.
So when looked at in the totality, where would you rather invest your money? Give me any better place than right here in the good ole USofA. There isn’t any. Not by a country mile.
In fact, maybe the funniest thing ever is all the people saying the bond market would stop the Trump agenda. Remember that a few months ago?
Yet here we are. Yields WAY down, which means prices are…WAY up. Thus people aren’t dropping government bonds, they’re buying ’em.
One could make an argument that they’re buying government bonds because of fears of a recession. That’s a legit argument to make. BUTTTT calls for a recession are like grains of sand at the beach, there are too many to count.
Same thing happened under the Biden Administration too by right wing people. Drove me crazy even though I didn’t vote for Sniffy Joe because I don’t want economic analysis being couched by current politics.
Yes, politicians do affect economic output. Look at the insanity of the Green New Deal and some idiotic state governors, like in Maine, pushing Solar…IN MAINE!!! and Wind to deal with the evil of CO2 which will also reduce electricity prices. Obviously, didn’t happen and never will. Maine has seen the largest increase in electricity prices since 2020 in the entire country with California being a close second.
But if there is anything we know about politicians they will shift on a dime when enough voters start griping about the current state of affairs. We’re seeing that now with even Democrats embracing nuclear energy. (If only we could reopen the Maine Yankee plant in Wiscasset, Maine!)
My point is this, America is the only game in town. If America is going to fall the whole daggum world will fall well before we do. We are the cornerstone. We were founded because of literal Divine Intervention. God, for some reason, chose us. And fight Him as we always do, we are still the beacon of light in a dark, dark world dominated by evil.
Why would American Christians forget this, I’ll never understand. It’s NOT Christ-like to worry and be a doomsayer. It’s evil. Don’t be evil.
From a financial perspective, does this mean you put all your money into American stocks? Of course not. I highly suspect God doesn’t care about the S&P 500. But I do believe God cares about the United States and its people and as such our capital markets, stocks and bonds, are part of that.

So, for Heaven’s sake, stop the madness. Get on your knees and give thanks to the Lord, embrace your Americanism and put a smile on your face so people who you come in contact with KNOW you are a God-loving American who can’t be stopped.
